Tallgrass Bison Restoration’s carbon credits are additional, real, permanent, and verified. And our projects demonstrably work toward five of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Tallgrass Bison Restoration donates a portion of the company’s profits to protect America’s prairies and bison herds, and to support our indigenous brothers and sisters whose land we all live on. In addition to the restoration work at each well site we cap, Tallgrass Bison Restoration uses project proceeds to assist with funding a restoration project with the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) on the CSKT Bison Range in Montana. (Formerly the National Bison Range.) The multiyear project involves the removal of non-indigenous species and the planting of nearly 100 types of indigenous flora that sustain and support bison herds along with coyote, black bear, elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep, white-tailed deer, pronghorn, mountain cottontail, Columbian ground squirrel, muskrat, yellow-pine chipmunk, badger, and cougar.
